Google pulls co.cc subdomains from search, brings our global malware nightmare to an end

Google has been on a tear lately creative, launching new products and renovating old ones. But there's a reason, "the search giant" expression is synonymous with Big G, and is still working to return the best results. Sometimes this means adjusting its algorithm to avoid SEO play, sometimes it means a drop of more than 11 million pages of search results, the company has done in blocking the subdomain co.cc .. Google is considered a "freehost" - owned by a Korean company that offers free or low-cost areas, often stored in bulk - and after automated scan revealed a high percentage of malware hosting sites, decided to scrub the entire set of results. Of course, this is something like using a nuclear weapon against cockroaches, which causes a lot of collateral damage, while the real goal sneaks out of hiding soon. However, we would like Google's mission and boldly quixotic.
