HP launching an investigation into TouchPads shipped with Android, suspects foul play

touchpad After a few found their way into the hands of consumers loaded with Android 2.2, developers working with the Google operating system for HP hardware port reached out to the company for a look at the source code. Well, the request was rejected because, according to open source program director Phil Robb, HP has nothing to do with Froyo find your way around the board. In fact, the company goes so far as to launch an investigation into how the operating system over the table and retail channels. In an email Robb said: "We now believe that an unknown person or persons that may have facilitated the delivery of these units based on Android totally against the policy and the approval of HP." Of course, with hardware TouchPad suspended the company does not expect to lose too much time or resources to track the culprits.
