IBM experimental chips emulate the human brain

In April, the University of Southern California in the headlines when he announced that researchers have created a synthesis circuit functioning of synapses using carbon nanotubes. Well, IBM today unveiled a new class of experimental computer chips that are designed to replicate the human brain's capacity for perception, action and cognition. According to the company, "The technology could produce many orders of magnitude lower power consumption and space used in computers today." ..
