BMW to introduce laser headlights

BMW's i8 concept will be the first vehicle to sport laser headlights



In the last decade, LEDs have become increasingly popular for use in cars, mainly to serve as flashing lights, brake and park lights day, but more recently the use of headlights. Now that BMW has revealed it to the next step in the development of vehicle technology in the work lights on the introduction of laser tag. The company says that not only provides energy laser light - and therefore fuel - saving, but also could provide opportunities for completely new design and functions of light vehicles to improve safety.
