Pixar Trademark Lawyers Being Kept Busy: Fighting Pixar Petroleum, While Being Fought By The Atlanta Braves Over 'Brave'

It seems that Disney Pixar division is devoted to two separate battles mark, but interesting (although the two are very different). The first is a Canadian oil company decided to call its new division of Pixar oil. It turns out that Pixar is not happy with it and took legal action. One issue is that the Pixar chief John Lasseter is a strong advocate of alternative fuels and can not, any association with an oil company. Of course, the only one that does not contribute to a trademark complaint reasonable. In fact, I wonder if there is a reasonable request of the brand at all here. Brands meet the specific industries in which the mark is used in trade, and despite films like Cars seem tall enough to reach to suggest that the digital animation studio Pixar is in the same industry as the oil producers Pixar. Although this may cause a DoubleTake, I'm not sure that one of its traditional Fools Rush In reality I think the characters

seconds In this dispute, Pixar is the other side of the coin. The major league team, the Atlanta Braves, apparently trying to challenge Pixar attempt to register

as a trademark. Pixar wants the name because it is releasing a movie with that name. Of course, the baseball team does not really have a mark on the "Brave". Instead of their trademarks are the plural version. This is not totally exclude the protest, since you can discuss a common law trade mark or a risk of confusion.
Anyway, I'm at a loss of the confusion could be here too. I see no one to go see the movie from Pixar and disappointment that there was a baseball game
