Twitter tweaks its privacy guidelines

Twitter is committed to be more transparent with its users, as Apple says that applications that collect data from users violate the company guidelines for developers

Twitter says it will make more explicit privacy guidelines after admitting copying whole people smartphones address book and store information on their servers, according to reports.

Both the micro-blogging service and Apple, whose iPhone app Twitter offers have been criticized after the disclosure.

Reports indicate that two members of Congress have written to Apple asking why the company can operate on your iPhone, because it violates the guidelines for application development.
