German court upholds injunction against Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Apple wins nationwide ban

A German court has intervened in the battle against Apple patents Samsung endless, and does not look good for users of Galaxy Tab. In a decision released today, the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court upheld the injunction last month, banning the sale of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Germany. Citing a list of "modern and minimalist," Chief Judge Johanna Hoffmann-Brueckner determined that tablet Samsung has a "clear impression of similarity" with the iPad 2, deserves a national ban. "The court finds that the Apple's minimalist design is not the only technical solution to a Tablet PC, "said Brueckner-Hoffmann," Other designs are possible.
