Canon unveils PowerShot S100 and SX40 HS high-end point-and-shoots

Canon PowerShot S100 and SX 40 HS

Today we have a couple of Canon point and shoot to display. The S100 is the successor to the highly respected S95, while the market was super-SA SX40 35x zoom with the lens. Both devices use the new image processor DIGIC processor 5, bringing high-speed burst shooting 1080p video and the party. The S100 features enhanced low-performance, thanks to its f/2.0 lens and the new light, plus 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor (no longer exists once the CCD). It also has a GPS receiver to add location data in photos. The SX40, more or less, press the new processor and the sensor in the SX30 IS last year's somewhat disappointing. Hopefully the internal improvements will solve some problems with the quality of the line SX and noise. Both cameras will cost $ 430, with all the S100 early November and the SX 40 hours in late September. Check out the gallery below, and PR after the break.
