Zipcar CEO talks mobile app improvements, predicts connected vehicle future

We wonder why Zipcar CEO Scott Griffith was scheduled keynote at CTIA MobileCon - after all, who lease cars have to do with the phone? Apparently, a lot. Griffith said in his speech that the demand for mobile Zipcar and played a much more central role in the organization. The company develops its own device support car so that customers can connect their phones to hands-free features, and most importantly, the smartphone application Zipcar is due to a major update. The current version can be used to plan a vacation and unlock vehicles, but future versions of transforming it into more of a "wizard in the car." I'll let you know more information about the car to help the city with a personal recommendation service, listen to your iTunes playlists, detailed travel and feedback fuel levels and conditions of your car will be much easier to realize. Zipcar hopes to add new members through the application and -. "A few minutes later," just take a picture of your license and approval According to Griffith, the connected car will change the urban landscape, in particular the combination of services as LYFT, Uber, the exchange and public transport bikes. Not quite the flying car, but the nerd in us quite happy.
