Virgin Media extends free tube WiFi for all until 2013

unpleasant people sharing a platform with the tube should be a one time thing if you were a customer of Virgin Media. Branson provider back had said that once the Summer Games was over, that would be the exclusive service of its own broadband subscribers. Now, however, the company reversed that decision, the extension of the free period until the end of the year. The Telegraph

reports that the response is in part due to conversations with other large ISPs, who are willing to provide the service under their own packages. As it is unlikely to do so in the stratosphere or in the ocean, in the short term, we will place pretending that you are an intrepid explorer of the Piccadilly Line.
