Voltage Pictures dismisses 90 percent of defendants in Hurt Locker file-sharing lawsuit

application may not be as impressive, after all, now that the images of tension reduced a large part of the accused file-sharing complaint. Last week, the company voluntarily dismissed 90 percent of the 24,583 defendants originally named in the suit, according to documents filed in District Court U. S. for the District of Columbia. The dismissals were without prejudice, meaning that, theoretically, could be re-addressed in the future, although the number of people who have signed agreements with the tension remains uncertain. The company also said that some of the assumptions shared files by name, but acknowledged that 2278 IP addresses to remain anonymous. For more information, see the cover
