'iPad mini' likely to be Wi-Fi-only
increasingly convinced that Apple will enter the market 7 inch Tablet PC, but also to release revised iPads
until Apple "iPad mini" are available in a Wi-Fi version - but there will be a revised version of the iPad with support 4G connectivity across the UK in all parts of the network, and the new research "Lightning" connector, industry sources have told the Guardian.
Rumorsbuilt for months that Apple could move to the lower end of the range tablet market, offering a smaller version of its 9.7in iPad, known as the "mini iPad" and 7.8in screen.
which are in direct competition with Google Nexus tablet 7, manufactured by Asus in Taiwan and tablet Amazon Kindle Fire, both of which measure 7 inches diagonally.
Several sources contacted by The Guardian indicated that they believe that the announcement of the "mini iPad" is imminent, with retail sources say they plan new products in November.
A company Knomo, which designs cases for Apple products, announced Tuesday that it has a mini-iPad case available in a few days -. Although invitations were sent by a launch
Earlier TuesdaySonny Dickson, an Australian writer, tweeted pictures of what he said was the "mini iPad", showing a device cant about half the size of a standard with iPad connector lightning.
- industry sources told The Guardian do not expect to see mini versions of compatible 3G iPad. This would allow Apple to produce relatively cheap and limit the maximum price of the product, keeping the mobile broadband connectivity to its range of more expensive iPad. Sources also indicated that they expect Apple updates the iPad line by monitoring the introduction of the iPhone 5, which is capable of 4G in the UK through the Everything Everywhere network 1800MHz - Starting next September and three - with revised versions that use the same chip 1800MHz 4G and the new connector.
Some analysts believe that Apple could sell up to 10 million iPad mini late 2012 when it is released, as some expected, November 2. A key factor will be the price: Amazon Kindle Fire Nexus and 7 are both priced at about $ 200 U.S., which led analysts to believe that Apple can not set a price for the basic version of any "mini iPad" more than $ 250 without damaging your sales.
Apple influenced the tablet market since the iPad was released in April 2010 and continues to lead the market in general. But Amazon, Samsung and more recently, Google has discovered a "price umbrella" in the form factor of 7 inches which started to operate.
