GOWEX bringing free WiFi to French rail stations, starting with Marseille
Wi-Fi in our transport hubs for granted here in the United States. (Heck, we even deep in the bowels of New York.) In other countries, it is a fact that will have high-speed broadband available to waiting for a train or a plane. France is working on it, however, with GOWEX sign an agreement with the French Company National Railways (SNCF) to bring wireless Internet access to railway stations across the country. The first part of the puzzle is the animation of Saint-Charles in Marseille, southern France. In the course of 2013 (however, the company declined to say when) the switch is flipped and tourists around the station of Marseille can enjoy free Internet 512 Kbps. For a little more information, see the PR after the break.
