HTC details micro arc oxidation, says your One S will be strong enough to forgo the case (video)

happen to remember the precious metal from HTC use on your next one S to enclose your ice cream sandwich core charge? To refresh your memory, see ceramics and feel of your metal monocoque shell is created using a process known as oxidation Micro arc - and highlighted by HTC as the magic happens in his latest YouTube video. According to the company, the shell (aircraft grade aluminum) closed with a huge 10,000-volt "energy", causing a reaction that quickly leads to the black color and smooth texture. Notably, HTC says that it's actually a metal treatment rather than an arrival at the top of it. It's not all - the metal also ends up being almost five times as strong as a result.
