Pheasants Forever - review

Wii Media Funbox, cert 12, now

The concept behind to win some lightgun games since Carnival combines children, guns and duck with the chance of a furry toy had. The premise was simple - and pull the trigger point. For a time, in terms faux shooting was that cutting edge. Although many technologically by the wealth of shooting stuff in video games, invented the so-called \ do "Protecting Gallery" to stand still, Pheasants Forever is the latest example.

As the title suggests, is the theme of this fairly rudimentary titles bird hunting and in keeping with its heritage, it provides fixed-point shooting down a fairly narrow field, just as if you were squinting to a tin can alley.

Here the replica gun is replaced with the Wii 's hands, which brings the unfortunate foul with a squeeze of the trigger. It 'sa selection of weapons and a Field Guide' s worth of feathered creatures you are on target. It 's also a selection of hunting dogs to master - a feature that provides unintentional moments of surrealism - and a superficially diverse range of game modes. But despite efforts to offer a variety of experiences, pheasants Always exhibits little in the way of flair. It is certainly fun, but can be easily and rarely seen.
