If You Meet A Censor, Ask Why They Haven't Become Moral Degenerates Themselves

Last year, he wrote on one of the leading censure of China, the creator of the Great Wall of China, who did an interview where he talked about the importance of censorship was protect people - while noting that he had five VPN accounts to circumvent the Great Wall ... for research purposes only (as promised). I was reminded of this while reading an interview with a Kuwaiti censor who seems very proud of its role in maintaining horrible content being consumed by the population of Kuwait - while talking about how much you will learn to read all these contents.

I heard this interview with Adam Thierer, a simple question that he thinks that each sensor must be ordered:
But this is where the journalist missed a golden opportunity to issue Dalal, you should always do a review if you can answer one: If the content censorship is so destructive of the soul or the human psyche, how is it that you are a properly fitted?
Dalal
And certainly looks like a well adjusted person. Although the reporter does not say much about his personal life or circumstances, Dalal volunteers that much about him and his co-censorship. "Many people believe that censorship is a fanatic, uncultured person, but this is not true We are the most educated, as we have read a lot, almost every day. We received many information in different areas. read children's books, religious books, politicians, philosophical, scientific and many others. "Yes, yes of course ... because you're lucky enough to have access to all content! But you are also taking steps to ensure that the rest of their society are not consumed in the theory that they injure or harm public morality in a way. But again, how come you have not been completely corrupted by all this, Ms. Dalal? After all, you get to eat anything unclean, ungodly, and all that outrageous! Should not be a monster at the moment?

Thierer will argue that the "third person effect hypothesis" explains the problem. He says that "people tend to overestimate the influence of mass communication on attitudes and behaviors of others ", while assuming, however, that that
are somehow immune to the effects. This is a post Interestingly, and this should be used whenever someone has the pleasure of meeting (or, better yet, interviews) a government official censorship
