AMD Shows Off Monstrous Professional Graphics Card... And Maybe The Radeon 7990

Aa design professional major league need processing power, and AMD is targeting up to bite with its line of FirePro GPU. Earlier this week the company announced the launch of the FirePro W600, the first line to integrate technology from AMD and 28nm GCN. Hopefully it will not run out and buy one immediately, because AMD's older brother showed this letter today, the FirePro W9000, and a memory full of

beast

. And hey, we have just seen the first Radeon 7990 too?

First, the FirePro W9000, besides the 28nm GPU based in Tahiti, card games to 6 GB of GDDR5 memory and DisplayPort six. He is able to push 264,800,000 pixels per second, with 4 TFLOPS single precision math and a double-precision TFLOPS.

Now comes the fun part: the slide to the FirePro W9000 showed a map that looked a lot like a typical entry Radeon 7000 series, but the card that AMD CTO Mark Papermaster during the conversation was very different view to see, with three fans clearly visible. Was it the long-rumored dual-GPU Radeon 7990 instead of the W9000 FirePro?
