China Increases The Fines For Copyright Infringement

For years, we talked about how the United States has put pressure on China to strengthen its enforcement regime of intellectual property - and whenever we warn that this will turn against one big bad. To "calm" the United States, China maintains only intensifies scripts ... but he seems to have the habit of doing that hurt foreign companies. And while China said its offensive against copyright is a "success" under increasing pressure to change the copyright, China announced its intention to double the "fines" for violating up 1 million yuan (~ $ 158,000). It seems perfectly in line with the ridiculous rates that are currently legal in the United States, but it still seems out of place in China, where the average citizen earns much less than the U.S. average. Not that there is likely to be part of an effort to use the law, but the laws how you going to get people to respect copyright more. They do the opposite. When penalties are so disproportionate to the action is not taken seriously by law
