Texas Instruments wants to ditch smartphones, switch focus to embedded processors
Texas Instruments has made the surprising announcement that will lower your smartphone and tablet business successful for embedded systems. VP Greg Delagi told investors that the switch would create a "long term business" battles more "stable" and ruthless, he has faced in the mobile. If now the global leader in semiconductor third is worried about losing ground to the likes of Qualcomm, Samsung and Apple - despite its recent OMAP CPU power tablets like the Nook and Kindle Fire HD.
