Ninja Gaiden 3 boosts Tecmo Koei's fiscal year earnings

According to the company's financial report recently published a 2012 profit (via Andriasang), Koei Tecmo sales increased to 10.7 percent from the previous year to 35,525,000 yen. Operating profit of the company increased to 56.1 per cent to 7.472 million yen, while net income rose 69.3 percent to 4.640 trillion yen.

The reason for this increase was due to strong sales of Ninja Gaiden 3. The game shipped 630,000 units worldwide. The company also has an income of several orders of portfolio securities, such as Gundam Dynasty 3 and royalties for games like One Piece Kaizoku Musou and the conquest of Pokemon.
